It another birthday adventrue!! Oh and we have a new action to the family and she is less than a month old. Time for a small family day trip!!!

If you live in Northeastern Oklahoma, I can almost guarantee you have either heard of or know someone who has heard of Blue Whole. This is a natural spring river with a huge hole that you can swim in.

Now because it's spring fed this water is COLD!!! there are several springs that feed into it, and if you look close you will find some of the springs!

When you get there the first thing you see is the hole. It's awesome, but usually crowded. We drove down just a little ways past the main area and found our own little oasis and private section. There was a good size rock that you can jump off into a little deeper section.

We ran into some snakes and decided it was time to move on!!! We went back up to the entrance and found a good spot on the beach and swam for a little while before it was time to pack up.
