1st Anniversary -OKC

We had such a fun time in OKC for our mini road trip. That we just had to come back!

We left way to early!! Got there before anything opened and took a quick nap in the car.

We were planning on going to the zoo the first day and checking out brick town the second. However, for it being May it was really cold, we changed our plans just a little.

Day 1 - Brick Town

We went over to the capital building and looked around.

Next stop that we didn't realize was so close was the OKC bombing memorial. If you are ever in the are, I would recommend stopping and seeing this!

Next we went over to the park that's next to the Oklahoma city thunder stadium.

We stopped for dinner in brick town, and the joy of having your anniversary on cinco de myo is there is always a party!!

After the sun was complty gone. We went back over to the memorial site. And... WOW!!!

Day 2 - OKC Zoo

This was an amazing day for the zoo! We walked around the entrance for a little. Then over to the giraffes because I'm a little obsessed!! And it was just amazing to get to feed them!

We then went over to the "kid zone" where you can feed the birds. This was so nuts I just loved it!

Walked around a little more (this place is huge) made our way over to the elephants to watch the show. The little one was so cute!!

And of course had to find the adorable red pandas where (sshhhhh) i took some of the leaves from the bush in front and the little guy took them from me!! How cool is that!
