Natural Falls

Did you know Oklahoma has a 77ft water fall!!!! Neither did we. Its right off 412 in West Siloam Springs, OK. We packed a lunch and headed out!! Oh yeah totally missed the 412 road split!!!

We get to Natural Falls State Park and make our way down to go see them.

From the top they have a platform you can stand on and look down at the falls.

You can also take the "100 some odd" steps down to the bottom and look up at the falls.

We fallowed a path next to a stream over to a bridge that crossed over stream, and took a little break by the water.

From here we decided to take the bear trail.....

We like going on hiking trails. But this one just about kicked our butts!!! We were not as prepared for it as we normally are. About half of this trail is not covered and you are walking in a field. The rest of it was amazing, just not so much that part!

After the hike we stopped for lunch, went back to go look at the top of the falls one last time before heading home.

Travel on!!!
