Taylor's Ferry, Wagoner OK
Alright. Its fathers day weekend. We were looking for something other than the typical norm for us. My niece had been talking about Taylor's Ferry up in Wagoner and that sounded like an awesome place as most of us had never been!
We packed a picnic and headed that way!
Now this is an Oklahoma lake/river. However this water was actually cool and flowing so perfect Oklahoma June day for the lake!
They have there amazing swim area and sandy beach (hard to come by around here) and also this little island across from the swim area, and of course we have to go and explore it!!! The guys went over first to make sure it would be okay for the little ones. We also found a foam floater on the beach to help transport the little ones!
While we were all over there have the best of times, the kids make the floater a diving board! from there it was anyones game!
A quick break for food after all that fun and back into the water for most of us. Others needed a break.
We lost all track of time and after spending all day there, no really it was like almost 10 hours! Time to go home.
We had such an amazing day and cant wait to go back!
